Refund policy and how to request one
Quick answer: Refunds are reviewed case-by-case within 7 days of the charge. Email support with your account email and the date of the charge.
Refund window
GPTinf reviews refund requests within 7 days of the original charge. Requests outside that window are usually declined, except for duplicate charges or clear billing errors.
What is eligible
Refunds are most likely to be approved when:
- The charge was unintentional (auto-renewal you forgot to cancel, charged twice).
- A technical issue prevented you from using the service.
- You are within 7 days of the charge and have used very little of your monthly word budget.
Refunds are less likely when:
- You have used most or all of your monthly word allowance.
- The request is well past the 7-day window.
- The reason is "I changed my mind" combined with heavy usage.
How to request a refund
- Email support@gptinf.com with the subject "Refund request."
- Include:
- The email on your GPTinf account.
- The approximate charge date.
- One sentence on what happened.
- Wait for a reply. Most refund decisions land within 1-2 business days.
Note: Refunds are credited to the original payment method. Bank processing usually adds 3-10 business days on top of GPTinf's approval time.
Cancel first
A refund does not cancel your subscription. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription before or after asking for the refund.
FAQ
Can I get a partial refund? Sometimes — usually when you have used a small share of the monthly word budget. The support team decides per case.
What about chargebacks through my bank? A chargeback works but is slower and locks your account in the meantime. A refund request to GPTinf is faster.
Are annual plans refundable? Annual plans follow the same 7-day window from the charge date. Beyond that, partial refunds are rare.
