Word allowances explained (per process vs. monthly)

Quick answer: Free uses a per-run limit. Paid plans use a monthly budget with no per-run cap. The Humanizer, Plagiarism Checker, and Grammar Checker each count words their own way.

The two kinds of limit

• Per-run limit (free tiers). Each time you click the button, there is a cap on that single run. Anonymous Humanizer is 120 words per run; a registered free account gets 240 words total to split across runs.
• Monthly budget (paid plans). No per-run cap. You get a pool of words each month that refreshes at the start of your billing month.

The most common misconception: "I have a Pro plan, so I still have a 120-word limit per run." You do not. Paid plans drop the per-run cap entirely — you only have the monthly budget.

Limits by tool and tier

A few things to notice:

• The Humanizer is the only tool that runs on the monthly budget on paid plans.
• The Plagiarism Checker uses a daily word cap on free (resets on a rolling 24-hour window), then goes unlimited on any paid plan.
• The Grammar Checker uses a per-check cap — how big one check can be — not a daily or monthly pool.
• The AI Detector is free and unlimited for everyone.

What counts against the monthly budget

On paid plans, your monthly budget is spent by Humanizer words processed. The AI Detector, Grammar Checker, and Plagiarism Checker do not draw down your Humanizer budget.

FAQ

Do unused words roll over? No. The monthly budget resets at the start of each billing month; unused words do not carry forward.

Is the registered-free 240 words per run or total? Total. You can split those 240 words across several runs.
